BINOVA TECHNO-LOGICAL KITCHENS

Haute Living is the exclusive distributor of Binova Techno-Logical Kitchens in Chicago and one of only two distributors in the United States. Binova kitchens feature clean and ageless looks that are free of frills and fussy details, making them well suited to contemporary environments. Technical innovations like high pressure quartz work surfaces which are stain resistant, scratch resistant, and heat resistant, and the optimization of internal storage space through new heights and new depths, will appeal to individuals looking for not only a beautifully designed kitchen, but a practical kitchen as well.

ERBA GIOVANNETTI

Founded in the mid sixties, Giovannetti hit immediately the international attention with innovative and researched products, perfectly matching the experimental climate of those years, when new forms were being created and new ways were sought to satisfy the growing necessity of relaxing, meeting and conversing. This is the philosophy which gave birth to a series of projects – numerous those designed by Superstudio of Florence – which today may be found in the most precious art galleries and achieve astonishing figures at international auctions at Christie's or Sotheby's. First among all Anfibio (1970), a product which, born as a convertible sofa, fulfilling both functions of sofa and bed in a simple and poetic way; adds the sensuality and charisma of those who continue to interpret the people's desires, today like yesterday.

FENDI CASA

Haute Living is the exclusive distributor of Fendi Casa in Chicago. Furniture, Sofas, Armchairs, Chaise Lounges, Consoles, Beds, Day-Beds, Crystal Lighting, Accessories, Linens, and all of the other elements of everyday life, as seen and interpreted by Fendi, make up this extraordinary collection. The Fendi Casa collection has re-interpreted luxury with a unique simplicity while maintaining a sophisticated elegance. The creative use of fabrics and leathers, the innovative mixing and matching of colors, and the use of precious materials, many of which are handmade, allow for one-of- a-kind personal and personalized objects d’art, in which no two items are alike.

RIMADESIO

Haute Living is the exclusive distributor of Rimadesio in Chicago and one of only two distributors in the United States. Rimadesio believes light is the main character of environments and luminosity defines space. As a result, Rimadesio doors, closet systems, shelving systems and furniture feature made to measure glass and aluminum compositions that focus on lightness and luminosity. Made to measure doors, sliding panels, shelving systems and other modular solutions are designed to provide maximum versatility to a variety of architectural situations. Rimadesio products unify essential design with technological innovation, resulting in products that are not only aesthetically beautiful, but beautifully engineered.

VLADIMIR KAGAN

Vladimir Kagan is one of the 20th century's pre-eminent modern furniture designers. His designs from the forties, fifties, and sixties have become icons of mid-century Modern and have been a major influence on many of the designers who followed him. His work is collected by connoisseurs and museums throughout the world including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum - London, and The Chicago Athenaeum. Private collectors of his work include Donna Karen, Tom Ford, Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, Frank Sinatra, Isaac Stern and David Lynch. While collectors and museum curators have long appreciated the Kagan esthetic, a new generation of people is feathering their nests with Mr. Kagan's “James Bond-meets-the-Jetsons” furniture. USM MODULAR FURNITURE

The underlying impetus behind USM Modular Furniture is that form should follow function. Characterized by timeless design and ultra high-quality construction, USM furniture products are a paradigm of versatile modular design. Elegant proportions and minimalist design make each system appropriate for both home and office environments, able to assimilate with any architecture or interior design. USM’s venerable Haller system was accepted into the Museum of Modern Art’s Architecture and Design collection in 2001, while USM’s Eleven22 system was recently awarded the Good Design Award from the prestigious Chicago Athenaeum.
